Chlorpheniramine is a first-generation alkylamine antihistamine used in the prevention of the symptoms of allergic conditions. Its sedative effects are relatively weak compared to other first-generation antihistamines. Chlorpheniramine is one of the most commonly used antihistamines in small-animal veterinary practice.

Cattle : 30-50 mg (Total dose)
Sheep, Goat & Pigs : 10-20 mg (Total dose)
Dog : 0.4-2 mg/kg b. wt twice daily
