BACTOJECT

BACTOJECT contains Oxytetracycline which is a ready-to-use, broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic solution registered for use in cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. Oxytetracycline is active against a wide variety of bacteria, infections caused by Chlamydia, Mycoplasma & rickettsiae etc.

Each ml contains:

Oxytetracycline HCL IP           :           50 mg

INDICATIONS

Cattle: For the treatment of heart water, anaplasmosis, pneumonia, foot rot, joint-ill, navel-ill, pink eye (infectious bovine keratoconjuctivitis) & Blood protozoan diseases.

Sheep and goats: For the treatment of heart water, pneumonia, foot rot, joint-ill and navel-ill.

Pigs: For the treatment of pneumonia, joint-ill and navel-ill.
 

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
For SC, IM or IV route
All Animals: 20 mg/ kg. b.wt or 1 ml/10 kg b. wt once daily for 3-5 days
Poultry : 50 mg/ kg. b.wt

or as directed by veterinarian
