Tylotec 10

Tylosin Phosphate – 10% Granulated Premix

Tylotec 10 is a macrolide antibiotic with a bacteriostatic effect, inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial proteins. It does not directly act on some microbes like E. coli and Salmonella spp., but exerts an anti-adhesive effect (hindering their adhesion to the intestinal villi, their penetration through the intestinal mucous membrane and impeding their colonization phase as well).

Composition

Each kg contains:

Tylosin Phosphate equivalent to Tylosin base 100 g.

Indications

• For prevention and treatment of infections caused by Tylosin sensitive bacteria – mycoplasmosis, chronic respiratory disease and infectious synovitis in chicken and turkeys, spirochetosis (borreliosis) in chicken and infectious sinusitis in turkeys.

Benefits

• Has a wide spectrum of activity against gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria – Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Campylobacter coli, Pasteurella spp., Mycoplasma spp., some large viruses, including some anaerobic microbes.
• Anticoccidial activity against Eimeria tenella.
• Improves body weight gain and feed conversion efficiency in chicken.

Dosage and Administration

200 to 500 grams of Tylotec 10 per MT of finished feed corresponding to 20-50 ppm of Tylosin, ensuring proper and homogenous mixing in the feed.
