BactojectLA provides sustained therapeutic levels of the antibiotic, reducing the need for frequent dosing and ensuring prolonged protection.

Composition

Each ml contains:

Oxytetracycline Dihydrate IP equivalent to anhydrous Oxytetracycline : 200 mg

2 Pyrrolidone IP (as vehicle) : q.s

Indications

• General bacterial infections
• Infections of gastro-intestinal tract, genito-urinary tract, respiratory system including mycoplasma, enterotoxemia and effective in certain viral and protozoan diseases.

Dosage and Administration

Poultry : 50 mg per kg body weight by subcutaneous route into the mild back region of the neck.

Cattle, Sheep, and Goat: 20 mg per kg body weight by deep intramuscular route.

Withdrawal Period

Egg : 7 days

Meat : 22 days
