Broad Spectrum Aminoglycoside Anti-bacterial

Gentaject is an antibiotic that is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, particularly those caused by gram-negative bacteria. It disrupts protein synthesis in bacteria, leading to their rapid elimination.

Composition

Each ml contains Gentamycin Sulphate equivalent to Gentamycin: 40 mg

General bacterial infections

Dosage and Administration

By IM/SC route after dilution with sterile water 8 mg per kg body weight or as recommended by a Registered Veterinary practitioner.

Withdrawal Period

Egg : 7 days

Meat : 22 days
