A Semi-Synthetic Macrolide Antibiotic

Tilcovet 250 has a wide spectrum of activity against gram-positive organisms affecting poultry as well as gram-negative organisms. It is recommended primarily for respiratory diseases associated with Mycoplasma spp. and other bacteria sensitive to Tilmicosin.

Composition

Tilcovet 250 oral solution contains 250 mg of Tilmicosin per ml. It is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic obtained from Tylosin, which affects bacterial protein synthesis.

Recommended Dosage

For oral administration through drinking water

Prevention: 10–15 mg/kg body weight for 3–5 days and repeat every 4–6 weeks.

Control: 15 – 20 mg/kg body weight for 3-5 days and repeat every 4-6 weeks.
