Larvistat 100
Insect Growth Regulator
Larvistat 100 is a triazine derivative and an insect growth regulator developed for the control of fly larvae in manure and other breeding sites in animal housing. It interferes with the molting process of larvae and pupation, leading to deformed or/and dead larvae, pupae, and adults. It mainly affects the dipteran larval molt in the first larval stages (L1, L3), and its effect on the last larval stage (L3) is limited.
Composition
Each kg contains Cyromazine: 100 mg.
Benefits
- Improves productivity and performance while improving appetite and increasing feed intake.
- Control fly larvae in poultry farms.
- No cross-resistance development.
- Poorly metabolized and excreted, it is unchanged in retaining effectiveness.
- Improves litter quality by reducing unwanted noxious gases like Ammonia (NH3) and Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S)
Dosage and Administration
50 g per ton of feed or as recommended by a Nutritionist.
Directions for use:
Mix the recommended quantity of Larvistat 100 with the finished feed after the preparation of the premix. Start the usage when flies become active and continue for 4-6 weeks or until the fly population is under control.
Adulticide is recommended after each usage of Larvistat 100 in order to control the influx of adult flies from external sources.
