Benefits
- Excellent pelleting stability – after extruding process with temperatures as high as 150oC, the Vitamin C retention of Ceemax has been estimated to be over 80% compared to coated Vitamin C and crystal Vitamin C products that show about 25% and 10% retention.
- Excellent storage stability – the Vitamin C retention of Ceemax is found to be far higher than coated and crystal Vitamin C products even after 45 days of storage.
- Excellent water durability – after placing the shrimp feed in 20oC seawater for 5 minutes, the Vitamin C retentions of Ceemax and crystal Vitamin C have been found to be 62% and 7.8% respectively.
- Excellent bio-availability – accumulation in hepatopancreas and the digestion and absorption rates of Ceemax are high compared to other forms of Vitamin C.
Recommended Dosage
Shrimps : 0.6 to 1.5 g/kg of feed
Fish : 0.2 to 0.8 g/kg of feed
During unfavorable conditions such as high temperature or polluted water, the usage level may be increased by 50 – 100%. When there is a disease, the usage level may be increased by 200-500%.
